Oyetola Thanks Ooni, Oluwo, Aragbiji, Other Prominent Nigerians For Attending Reception Held In His Honour In Iragbiji
The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, has expressed his deep gratitude to the sons and daughters of Iragbiji and other Nigerians from all walks of life for attending the reception held in his honour in Iragbiji, Boripe local government, Osun state in large numbers.
The minister has also expressed his gratitude to the Ooni of Ife, Ooni Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbdulRasheed Akanbi Telu 1, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, Oba Abdulrasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV and other traditional rulers, who had either attended the event or visited him at home after the event to felicitate him.
The former Osun state governor has also appreciated all the Chief Executives and Executive Directors of the agencies under his ministry for finding time to grace the reception held in his honour.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Sunday noted that the minister specifically thanked the Osun state market women and men, and artisans for their show of love which was demonstrated in action on Saturday.
He noted that the overwhelming turnout at the reception which was devoid of political differences was a demonstration of Osun people’s undying passion and love for him as a person.
‘On behalf of my family, I appreciate our revered Osun state monarchs and other Nigerians for giving me a warm reception.
The large turnout is an indication of the passion and the love that the people have for us, and a show of appreciation of the modest achievements that God had used us to achieve while at the helms of affairs in Osun. I promise that I will not let you down as minister of Marine and Blue Economy as well’ Oyetola said.
Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other residents of the state had given Oyetola a rousing welcome on his arrival in the state on Friday.
