
Head teachers, teachers, and others have been banned from holding meetings during school hours in Oyo State.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board, Nureni Adeniran, who disclosed this while monitoring the return of students to class in Ibadan, the state capital, on Tuesday, warned that violators will be punished.
‘This is a warning to all head teachers and teachers to desist from holding meetings during school hours. Henceforth, any primary school head teacher who indulges in such an act will be severely dealt with’ he said.
Adeniran also urged unions and associations in the basic education sub-sector to obey this directive while asking the Education Secretaries to disseminate the information to all the head teachers in their respective Local Governments-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
