Papa Ajasco Keeps Meeting President Tinubu At Lagos Airport Coz Of His Role -Presidency
The presidency on Thursday clarified that no importance should be attached to the fact that President Bola Tinubu has kept meeting a comic actor, Abiodun Ayoyinka, who is popularly called Papa Ajasco, at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president’s Special Assistant on Social Media , Mr. Olusegun Dada, explained on Thursday that Nigerians who are curious about this should not attach importance to it.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Wednesday ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays.
He was received at the airport by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Deputy Governor, Dr Femi Hamzat; members of the Lagos State Executive Council and Lagos State APC bigwigs.
Among those who were pictured while exchanging greetings with him was Papa Ajasco and Dada had posted this video on social media which made an X.com user pose a question; ‘I’m curious, do they meet every time he’s at Lagos airport? Cos this scene happened months ago too?‘.
The president’s media aide however responded that Papa Ajasco has been a regular face at the airport each time the president visits the state because of his role.
‘I’ve seen this question pop up in my comments a lot. For context, Papa Ajasco is in charge of the cultural troop that welcomes Mr President whenever he is in Lagos.
