Pat Utomi Calls Hugging Wigwe’s Father During Condolence Visit ‘Sad Moment’

Professor Pat Utomi, a political economist, has mourned the death of Mr Herbert Wigwe, who was until his demise on Friday night, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc.
Utomi , the Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote , the governor of Ogun state, Mr. Dapo Abiodun, and others paid a condolence visit to the parents of the late Wigwe, on Monday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the popular political economist in a post on X recalled how late Herbert’s father, Pa Shyngle Wigwe visited him after a ghastly accident in 1991 while adding that it was a sad moment hugging him during the condolence visit on Monday.

‘Today was heartbreak. In 1991 when I was a breath away from death from accident near Asaba, the first person I saw from Lagos after surgery in Onitsha was Engr Shyngle Wigwe. He came with his son, Osita, who would pass on similar accident years later. Today I felt pain hugging him
Deep sincere prayer for fortitude for the Wigwes and for peaceful repose of Herbert, wife and son and the others on that flight and indeed all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God’ he wrote.
Recall that a helicopter with six people aboard crashed near the California-Nevada border on Friday night and there was no survivor.
