PDP Reps Candidate, Ibrahim Ajia, Promises To Create Job Opportunities For Young People Through Agriculture

As part of his efforts to reduce poverty, improve productivity and stimulate socioeconomic development in Ilorin West/ Asa Federal Constituency; Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, who is the founder of Mohammed Ajia Ibrahim (MAI) Foundation, has promised to assist anyone who is  ready to venture into agro-business by making  incentives available to such a person.

This, he noted, will make them do well in their respective vocations while this will also serve as a platform  to create job opportunities for the young people, make them become  self –reliant and generate revenue for the government.

Ajia, who made this assertion, while talking to journalists including Team@orientactualmags.com emphasized the need for all to embrace agriculture as a veritable tool to shore up income and boost food production. 

Ajia, a retired police officer, who is the Asa/Ilorin West PDP House of Representatives candidate, also urged young people in the country to venture into agric business, saying ‘agriculture remains a sector that is always profitable and equally accommodates a large number of people’.

‘I will create access for entrepreneurship, where young people will discover their talents and realize their dreams. I will provide sustainable opportunities and source of income for the people of Asa and Ilorin West Local governments’ he said.

Ajia also promised that if elected as reps member, he ‘will consider the use of modern technologies in the production of “Aso-Oke” with a view to opening this to global market. 

‘I will also ensure that our local fabrics is being used at home to stimulate our economy and facilitate sporadic development’ he added.

Ajia also emphasized the need to encourage   and motivate young men and women, who had opted for entrepreneurship in the face of unavailability of white collar jobs, to become employers of labour -Team@orientactualmags.com
