PDP Will Regain Control Of ‘Federal Government’ In 2027- Umar Damagum

The nation’s leading opposition party, the PDP, which had controlled the Federal Government between 1999 and 2015, will bounce back and regain the control of the Federal Government in 2027,  the acting National Chairman of the party, Umar Damagum, has  submitted.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Damagum made this assertion while giving his speech  during  the  reception programme held to mark   Chief Adolphus Wabara’s 76th birthday in Umuahia,  Abia state.

Wabara, a former Senate President, is the chairman of the  PDP Board of Trustees.

‘With what we are doing, we will come back sound, healthy and victorious’ Umar submitted while urging party faithful to be more resilient to overcome challenges.

The governor of Enugu state, Dr Peter Mba, also noted that  the birthday  celebrant ‘held sway during the glorious days of our party’ and expressed the hope that Wabara ‘would deploy his experience to engineer renaissance of the party’.

In his opening remarks, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, who was the Chairman of the occasion, noted that the dignitaries gathered to celebrate the man that Abia state had donated to the party, and prayed that in the next political dispensation in the country, PDP would take over the control of the federal government.

‘Senator Wabara has restored hope in the  Board of Trustees, BoT of the party, hence we now know that this party has a conscience. This kind of occasion allows the party to come together in the South-East. You have gone through a lot. We are here to encourage you. The best of PDP is still ahead and in the future’ he said.

Also speaking, the birthday celebrant, Wabara, who described the PDP as a family, added that ‘all these people leaving will find their roots in the next two to three years’-Team@orientactualmags.com  Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
