Police Arrest Man Who Angrily Killed Security Guard With Single Punch In Rivers

A security guard ,Ifeanyi Ani has been allegedly beaten to death by a customer at a popular eatery in Rivers State.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the incident happened in Rumukrushi , Obio Akpor Local Government on Thursday evening.

The customer in question had parked his car at the parking lot but left his wife inside the car while the headlight was on.

The security guard had gone to meet the woman inside the car and asked her to turn off the headlight and in the process, the man returned and was questioning Ifeanyi asking what he was doing with his wife.

Before you can say jack Robbinson he punched the security guard who collapsed and later died.

‘It was like a movie scene. People were talking to the man, but he refused and was still punching the security man. I think the security man is from Enugu State’ said a source.

The customer in question was not allowed to flee the scene and the people around consequently handed him over to cops attached to Mini-Okoro Police Division.

A  rights group, Centre for Basic Rights Protection And Accountability Campaign, said a sister to the security guard, Chinaza Ani had approached their organization with its partner, ‘Lawyers Watch For Justice International Initiative’ seeking for justice.

National Coordinator of the Centre, Prince Wiro, said this while reacting to the incident.

‘But she later told us to stay action, that the family wants to have a meeting with certain persons’ Wiro said.

Spokesperson for the State Police Command, Grace Iringe- Koko confirmed the incident, adding that investigation is underway.
