Police Confirm Abduction Of ASP  Abdulmumini Yusuf , Say Rescue Efforts ‘In Progress’

Kwara state police command on Thursday confirmed the abduction of a senior police officer , Abdulmumini Yusuf  , an Assistant Superintendent of Police,   by unknown gunmen.

Your darling medium had earlier  in the day reported Abdulmumini’s abduction.

Mr Ajayi Okasanmi, a Superintendent of Police, who is the spokesman for the Nigeria Police Force in Kwara state, not only confirmed Abdulmumini’s abduction, but added that efforts to rescue him unhurt was ‘in progress’.

‘Kwara Command is tirelessly working towards rescuing the abducted Assistant Superintendent of police even as the motive of the abduction is still sketchy. The incident, as serious as it is, has not diminished the resolve of the command to protect lives and property of the citizens.
