Police Confirm Abduction Of Kebbi Deputy Speaker In Bagudo
The Kebbi State Police Command on Saturday confirmed the abduction of the Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Muhammad Sama’ila-Bagudo in Bagudo Local Government.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that spokesman for the state police Command, CSP Nafi’u Abubakar, who confirmed Alhaji Muhammad’s abduction in a statement he issued in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday, noted that the incident occurred on Friday night at 8:20pm,.
Armed men had according to him attacked the state lawmaker while returning home after observing the Isha’i prayer and they have since taken him to an unknown destination.
The police spokesman added that a joint team comprising police tactical units, military personnel, and local vigilantes have been deployed to ensure that the Deputy Speaker is rescued unhurt and arrest the criminals who took him away.
‘The joint team is currently combing the bandits’ routes and nearby forests with a view to rescuing the lawmaker unhurt and arresting the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
