Police Investigate Death Of Young Woman Found Dead On Asaba Road After Visiting Man She Met On Dating Site
The police are investigating the death of Precious Yusuf, a 23-year-old lady, whose body was found on side of the road in Asaba, Delta State capital, during the weekend.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Precious Yusuf , whose body was found on DLA Road, opposite Falcon Club, Asaba, was last seen on October 22.
Precious Yusuf had reportedly told her friend that she was leaving her home to visit a man she met on a dating website, while her lifeless body was discovered on October 24.
‘The A Division, Asaba received a distress call early on October 24, prompting Divisional Police Officer, CSP Rex Abiodun, to mobilize a team of officers to the location. Upon arriving there, they confirmed the identity of the deceased, Miss Yusuf. Police investigations revealed that Yusuf had informed a friend before leaving that she was meeting a man from the iHappy dating site in an area known as Coka.
The last known communication with her friend occurred on October 23, at approximately 7:30 a.m., when she mentioned that she was on her way home’ spokesman for the state police command, SP Edafe Bright, submitted.
