Pregnant Woman Fakes Her Own Abduction In Abuja…Gifts Boyfriend N800,000 From N2m Ransom She Collected From Husband
A pregnant woman , Rosemary Ubah, who was abducted and later regained her freedom after her husband, Chiedozie Ubah had paid N2 million as ransom , has been arrested and taken into custody by the police in Abuja.
She had actually faked her own abduction.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Chiedozie had whilst the woman was in captivity informed the police of her abduction and investigation later revealed that the pregnant woman had connived with her boyfriend to fake her own abduction.
The woman, who had apparently been ‘generous’ with her ‘green zones’ , had also shown benevolence by gifting her boyfriend, Walter Ezeala, N800,000 while she kept the remaining N1.2 million for her use.
‘On 11 March 2024, at about 7.40 p.m., one Chiedozie Ubah of Saburi II, Dei-dei, Abuja, reported at Gwagwa division that his pregnant wife Rosemary Ubah, left home for the hospital on the same day for a scan but did not return home.
He later received a call through his wife’s phone number telling him that she had been kidnapped. And a demand for two million naira ransom before her release was made.
He transferred the sum into his wife’s bank account as instructed by the kidnapper.
He later brought his wife to the station after her release.
During interrogation, the wife freely confessed to conspiring with Walter Ezeala, living on the same street with them at Saburi, to extort money from her husband.
