President Tinubu Appoints Muyi Aina , Kelechi Ohiri As Heads Of NPHCDA , NHIA
The presidency disclosed on Friday that President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Muyi Aina as Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, and Dr. Kelechi Ohiri as Director-General/CEO, of the National Health Insurance Authority.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale announced this in a statement he issued in Abuja on Friday.
. ‘President Bola Tinubu urges the new leadership of these two critical agencies in the sector to prioritize quality, fairness, and accountability in the provision of world-class health care to all segments of the Nigerian society’ Ngelale said.
‘Aina, a renowned public health leader with a Master’s degree in Public Health from Harvard University, United States of America also holds a Doctorate degree from Johns Hopkins University, USA, following his first medical certification at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
Ohiri recently served as Managing Director for Strategy at the Global Alliance for Vaccines in Geneva, Switzerland. He obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health from Harvard University USA and another Master’s degree in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government following his first medical certification from the University of Lagos’ the statement added.
President Bola Tinubu has also approved the appointment of Mr. Shaakaa Chira as substantive Auditor-General of the Federation, as recommended by the Federal Civil Service Commission.
‘By powers vested in him by Section 86 of the 1999 Constitution (Amended), the President approved Mr. Chira’s appointment after the Federal Civil Service Commission conducted a screening exercise that identified Mr. Chira as the most qualified candidate who had also scored the highest in the examination amongst all qualified candidates for the office’ the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, submitted in separate statement.
President Bola Tinubu has also approved the appointment of Mr. Adewale Adeniyi as Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.
Director Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr Willie Bassey, made this known in a statement issued in Abuja on Friday.
The President shas tasked Adeniyi with bringing his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment.
