President Tinubu Leaves Paris For London, Aide Says He’ll Celebrate Eid al-Adha In Nigeria
President Bola Tinubu, who had arrived in Paris on Tuesday , has left the capital of France for London.
His media aide has called this a ‘private visit’.
‘Tinubu, who was initially expected to return to Abuja on Saturday, will now proceed to London, United Kingdom, for a short private visit’ his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication and Strategy, Dele Alake, submitted on Saturday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Alake in a statement titled ‘After successful Paris outing, President Tinubu off to London on a private visit’ noted that ‘the President will be back in the country in time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival’.
On Friday, President Tinubu concluded his official trip to Paris, during which he participated in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact’ hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Apart from participating in the summit, the President also held high-profile meetings with fellow heads of state and government, global business leaders, and chief executives of leading multilateral and development finance institutions from around the world.
The Presidential spokesman noted that the summit afforded the president the opportunity to project on a global stage, his advocacy for widening the fiscal space, and economic justice for Africa as the world accelerates the pace of energy transition.
