President Tinubu Nominates Christopher Musa As Defence Minister 39 Days After Leaving Military
Retired General Christopher Musa, who left the military following President Bola Tinubu’s decision to fire the service chiefs on October 24, 2025, has gotten a new role.
Musa, was until his sack on October 24, 2025, the Chief of Defence Staff.
The former Defence Chief had met with the president at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Monday and barely 24 hours after the meeting, he has gotten nominated as Defence minister.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the president in a letter sent to Senate President, Barrister Godswill Akpabio, notified the senate of retired General Musa’s nomination as Mohammed Badaru Abubakar’s replacement.
Recall that Abubakar Badaru, a former governor of Jigawa State, had resigned from his position on Monday.
