Kwara South indigenes and residents, who have attended training programmes at the ENACT Innovation Hub, Ajase -Ipo, Irepodun local government, Kwara State, have begun to share success stories of the skill acquisition centre.
ENACT Innovation Hub was established in 2020 by Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun.
An aerospace engineer, Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who was appointed as a member of the board of trustees of TETFUND in 2024 , established the Innovation Hub to promote human capital development in Kwara South which will have a significant impact on labour productivity and earnings.
Since coming into being in 2020, over 2,000 indigenes and residents of Kwara South have attended free training programmes at the innovation hub and the good news is that the vision of its founder is getting achieved.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that products of the Innovation Hub have begun to take to social media to talk about the skills and knowledge they have gained.

‘My foundation in Tech
I had no prior knowledge of tech when I first started, but Enact Innovation Hub became the foundation of my journey. My very first course is digital skills for Businesses, where I learned how to register and establish a business online. I can still recall discussions about Steve jobs, the founder of apple, and the fast fashion industry as well as insights into Bill Gates and innovative products like Nickel.
At first ,I thought this would be my only course but my curiosity led me to enroll in Entrepreneurship Development as well .this course broadened my knowledge significantly, especially through a hands-on project on KOMA Rabbit Limited, a business idea my group and I worked on extensively. We conducted in-depth research, developed a meaningful project and successfully registered the business and this experience gave me practical insights into business development and digital transformation.
One of the things I love most about Enact Innovation Hub is the engaging brainstorming and game sessions–because after all ,all work and no play makes Olatayo a dull girl.
Today, I am proud to say that I hold certificates in digital skills for business and Entrepreneurship’ one of the products of the Innovation Hub, Afolayan Olatayo Kehinde, submitted in a social media post.
Chief Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun, who is the ENACT Principal, has not only submitted that he was excited to have those who have attended free training programmes at the Innovation Hub sharing success stories but also noted that he felt inwardly happy to have created an opportunity to empower young people in the senatorial district , pave the way for success and allow them to create and pursue their dreams.
‘Alihamdulilah indeed. We give thanks to Allah for giving us the foresight and the resources to kick off ENACT INNOVATION HUB , Ajase-Ipo, which was inaugurated by HE AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq the amiable and performing Governor of Kwara State in November, 2020 in line with his vision of human capital development.
With thousands of lives positively impacted to date, it is a tremendous joy to see that the seeds planted are already bearing fruits. If it is just one life turned around and uplifted, the journey is well worth it.
Please keep us in your prayers to keep positively impacting lives in this life journey we are on.
Wishing Kehinde Olatayo Afolayan the very best in life. Keep on trucking on. Live your dreams’ he submitted-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
