Prominent Gombe Traditional Ruler Dies 16 Months After Coronation… Pictures Taken At Events He Attended In His Final Days

A prominent traditional ruler in Gombe state, Alhaji Mu’azu Muhammad Kwairanga III, is dead.
He had sadly left the planet earth just sixteen months after ascending the throne.
The late Emir, who died at the age of 45, had received staff of office and got officially recognized as Emir of Funakaye in May 2021.
The deceased, who was the Dan Maje of Funakaye before becoming the Emir after the demise of his brother; the late Emir Muhammad Kwairanga Abubakar, died on Sunday.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned the late traditional ruler ,who died from a heart attack at about 12:30 am on Sunday, had attended separate events in the state on Friday and Saturday including the opening ceremony of a central mosque in Kaltungo Local Government area of the state.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has described the death of the Emir as a monumental loss to the state and the nation as a whole.

The Governor in a statement issued by his media aide, Ismaila Uba Misilli, said the state has indeed lost one of its finest traditional rulers: ‘who worked relentlessly with other royal fathers in the state and offered counsels and fatherly guidance for the peace, unity, growth, and development of the state in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
The governor described the late Emir as a humble, decent, and down-to-earth person, who cared more for his subjects as well as the unity and progress of the state, describing his 16 -month reign as remarkably eventful.
Yahaya has extended his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Gombe state to the royal family, people of Funakaye Emirate, the Chairman of Gombe state Council of Emirs and Chiefs, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar lll as well as the entire state over the great loss, “praying Almighty Allah to grant the late royal father Aljannat Firdaus’ .
