Purported APC Defectors Not OYSF Members, Defection Ceremony ‘A Charade’ -Osun APC

Osun State APC on Thursday claimed that the state PDP fell victim to scammers who posed as members of the Omisore Youth Support Forum (OYSF) and fraudulently announced their decision to leave the opposition party.
Recall that Osun State PDP had on Wednesday rolled out the drums to receive into the party those who claimed to be OYSF members.
The state APC in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its spokesman, Mr Kola Olabisi on Thursday alleged that some of them concoted some stories as reasons for carrying out their ‘dubious intention’.
‘A fact-check revealed that the purported OYSF members who were assembled as decampees at the state secretariat of the PDP in Osogbo are innocent and hired members of the public and commercial motorcycle riders who were sourced from the state capital and some neighbouring towns for as little fee as N5,000.
It was because Governor Ademola Adeleke and his party were rattled by the ongoing gale of defections from the ruling party in the state that made them stage-manage the defection of some hand-picked hired persons from the APC to PDP.
Further investigation showed that some smart and dubious members of the PDP merely used the catastrophic defections of some notable PDP members to the leading opposition APC to make a brisk business by selling the dummy of the false defections to Governor Adeleke and his co-travellers who fell for the deceit hook, line and sinker.
It was learned that each of the purported decampees who were raked from various streets were promised N5,000 for taking part in the make-believe defection exercise.
Fight however, subsequently broke out at the end of the stage-managed false defection ceremony when the conscripted, hired and fake decampees were given N3,000.00 each instead of the N5,000.00 promised earlier’ the party alleged.
Osun State APC has also urged members of the public and the ‘esteemed members of our party’ to disregard what it called make-believe defection ceremony while describing it as a lie skillfully and dubiously packaged into a resemblance of a truth to enable its protagonists cash out and subsequently smile to the bank-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
