Ramadan: Former Kwara Lawmaker Moshood Bakare Distributes Food Parcels To Ifelodun LG Residents
A former member of Kwara State house of assembly, Hon Moshood Bakare has distributed food items including rice, and semolina to residents of Ifelodun local government.
The former state lawmaker ,who has done this under the umbrella of ‘Moshood Bakare Foundation’, noted that supporting the people during this holy month is important.
‘This is the best time for those who are wealthy to reach out to the people and help cushion the effect of the economic hardship.
However, it is not only those who are well-to-do that will take steps to ease things for the people during this holy month, we have also in our own little way supported our people because it is important that we do so.
In Islam, the act of giving back to society is highly emphasized, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
