Ramadan: Gov AbdulRazaq Felicitates Muslims, Urges Them To Make Best Use Of The Holy Month
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state has joined the Muslim community to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, the ninth lunar month throughout which fast is prescribed for every adult Muslim who is healthy.
The governor in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye thanked Allah and congratulated the leader of the faithful in the state, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and the whole community on the dawn of the month.
He urged the faithful to make best use of the special month in order to earn multiple rewards while emphasizing the need to extend good wishes to all, give more alms to the poor, increase support for one another in good deeds, and observe all the ethics of fasting, including more recitation of the Qur’an which was revealed in the same month.
‘The governor appeals to the faithful to pray for the country and the human community for guidance, peace, ease, abundant and lawful provisions, and improved security of lives and property.
