Ramadan: Saraki Distributes Food Items To Islamic Clerics, Party Members, Groups, Others In Kwara
In line with his annual Ramadan welfare initiative, former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has begun the distribution of food items to traditional leaders, Imams, Islamic scholars, party members, associations, youth, and women groups in Kwara State.
His Press Officer on Home Matters, Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir noted in a statement he issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the annual initiative aims to support various segments of society, including underprivileged individuals, ensuring that the spirit of generosity and compassion, which defines Ramadan, is upheld.
‘Earlier in his Ramadan message, Dr. Saraki, the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate, emphasized the deeper significance of Ramadan beyond fasting. He urged Muslims to embody compassion, generosity, and love for one another noting that true devotion is reflected in kindness and extending a helping hand to those in need.
He encouraged everyone to use this sacred period to strengthen their connection with Almighty Allah (SWT) through prayers and supplications, while also embracing patience, humility, and unity in society.
