Razaq Owolabi Says Oke-Ode Suburb Killings ‘Unacceptable’, Urges Vigilance…Offers Condolences

A member of Kwara State house of Assembly, Hon Razak Owolabi has condemned the killing of residents and security agents in Ogbayo, a suburb of Oke-Ode, calling the dastardly attack on members of his constituency shocking and upsetting news.

Hon Razaq Owolabi, who represents Share/Oke-Ode state constituency, in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com urged his constituents to be more vigilant, provide information to the law enforcement agencies and cooperate with government at all levels.

‘I am still short of words to express my grief over the death of several of our people in the hands of bandits that struck again in Oke-Ode and its environs today, Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Indeed, this is another devastating killing too many to bear! This latest report has once again, brought to fore the nefarious activities of criminal gangs who are hellbent in testing our will and determination to continue to live in peace and harmony within our God- given domain. 

It is also unfortunate that the more we strive as a people to live harmoniously with others, the more the agents of darkness are trying to test our resolve with senseless attacks.

This latest attack like others before it are unacceptable and it has further inflicted deeper pains to our sorrow.

Our heart and deep condolences therefore go to all the families of our people who are the victims of the attack, all our communities in the entire Oke-Ode District in particular and Ifelodun LGA in general.

As your Representative, at no time have I rested on my oars on this issue of insecurity particularly, and I will never relent until the activities of these lunatics are brought to an end.

As we sob over these killings, may I please urge us all to continue to be more vigilant, prioritize provision of information to the law enforcement agencies and please cooperate with Government at all levels as permanent solutions are being profered to bring the situation to normal.

As I say often, we are not a conquered people and surely, we shall overcome this security challenges also.
