Ahead of its planned ‘teacher recruitment’ exercise ,the Kwara state Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), has announced plans to hold in-person interviews for the applicants.
The board in a statement issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by its Press Secretary, Ameenat Abiola Atere has also provided needed information about the requirements.
Recall that the board had last week announced plans to engage a total of 1,611 teaching and non-teaching staff from across the sixteen (16) local governments in the state.
Chairman of KwSUBEB, Prof Shehu Raheem Adaramaja , had noted that a total of 695 B.Ed degree holders, 605 NCE holders, 200 security guards, and 111 other categories of Non-teaching staff would be employed while adding that the exercise will be carried out based on the needs assessment recently conducted across the 16 LGEAs.
‘The Kwara state Universal Basic Education Board (KWSUBEB), wishes to inform the general public that all applicants for its community-based recruitment exercise are required to present themselves at their respective Local Governments on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, by 9a.m. prompt.
Applicants must bring the following documents:
Original credentials(NCE, B.ED Applicants only)
– Photocopies of credentials
. Recent passport
photographs with red background (2 copies)
. Evidence of Registration with TRCN.
In addition, applicants must provide their bio-data typed boldly using 16 fonts on a sheet of paper to include:
– Surname
– Other names
– Date of Birth
– Local Government Area of Origin.
– Residential Address
– Phone Number
– Teaching Subject
– Signature
Please adhere strictly to the above instructions.

1). Applicants are to appear only in their LGA of origin.
