Rep Alex Ikwechegh Under Fire For Assaulting Bolt Driver In Abuja

A member of the House of Representatives, Alex Ikwechegh, has come under fire and he is being heavily criticized by social media users in the country following a viral video in which he assaulted an e-hailing (Bolt) driver who was at his Maitama , Abuja residence to deliver a package to him.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the federal lawmaker assaulted the driver in question for having the audacity to ask him to step out to collect his parcel.

In the video in question, Alex ,who  represents Aba North / Abia  South Federal Constituency , repeatedly insisted that what the bolt driver asked him to do was disrespectful given his social status.

Enraged Alex had telephoned the person who sent the parcel to complain and he said ‘ Who is the stupid boy that you sent to my house?  How can this stupid idiot tell me I was supposed to step out and meet him in his car to collect the snail that I am buying from you?’

 The woman, who was on the other side of the phone, apologized to him that the bolt driver didn’t know he is a federal lawmaker.

The bolt driver also said ;

‘You have been insulting me and I have kept my cool’

 

‘Do you know who I am? I can make this man (driver) disappear from the whole of Nigeria, and nothing will happen. Can you imagine this rat? I am not going to give this boy one naira of my money.

I am not going to call my policemen to beat you up. I will do that myself. I will show you that I am a big brother. I will tie you up, lie you down and put you in my generator house. Do you know where you are? Because you saw me sitting outside here. Look at this monkey’ Alex , who gave himself promotion by saying he is a senator, said.

The federal lawmaker got more infuriated when the driver requested for the delivery fee, and to show that he was full of anger, he slapped the chap multiple times.

‘Do you know who I am I just slapped you and there’s nothing you will do. My name is Honourable Alex Ikwechegh, tell them (public) I slapped you.
