2026 Osun Guber: Rep Wole Oke Gets ‘Satisfying Result’ In His Hometown
Director General of Osun State APC Governorship Campaign Committee, Rep Wole Oke on Saturday showed that he is well-liked by his town mates and they will always support him.
Rep Wole Oke, who represents Oriade/Obokun federal constituency in the House of Representatives, not only won at his polling station but also had the APC winning all the polling stations in Esa-Oke in the gubernatorial election held on Saturday.
Rep Wole Oke cast his ballot at Polling station 018, Ward 7 in front of the College of Technology where the APC guber candidate, Mr Bola Oyebamiji got 336 votes while Governor Ademola Adeleke had 45 votes.
Responding to Team@orientactualmags.com’s question asking to know how he was able to ‘deliver’ his hometown despite media reports that he is no longer popular there after leaving PDP for APC, he said social media comments do not determine decisions that are taken by the electors.
‘Politics is local, we don’t vote on Facebook neither do we do that on Twitter, Instagram or TikTok, I don’t impress people, I go for results.. I believe in the people, I invest in the people and I appreciate their support’ he said.
