Rivers: Man Gets Angry With Mum For Not Giving Him N10,000 To Buy Hard Drug, Kills Her

A young man, Owate Bode, has been arrested and taken into custody by the police for killing his mother  in Eleme, Eleme Local Government , Rivers state.

  Team@orientactualmags.com learned he killed his mother for failing to give  him money to buy hard drug.

 Grace Iringe-Koko,  a Superintendent of Police, who is the spokesperson for Rivers state police Command , said  the incident was recorded  on Saturday while adding  that the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID).

 Iringe-Koko added that the suspect has confessed to attacking his mother with a hoe while the Commissioner of Police, CP Okon Effiong  has ordered a thorough investigation  into  the  incident.

‘The suspect had demanded N10,000 from the mother which he intended to  use to buy hard drug, but his mother refused, so he hit her head repeatedly with a hoe,  and killed her.

The suspect was apprehended by young people in the community  and handed over to the Police while the corpse of the mother, a public primary school teacher, has been deposited in a mortuary’ a resident of the area said-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
