Road Project: Gov Adeleke Allays Fears Of Demolition Of Ilesa Central Mosque

Governor Ademola Adeleke has clarified that the ongoing road dualization project in Ilesa will not result in the demolition of the Central Mosque while noting that this was sequel to entreaties made by the Ijesa Muslim Community.
The governor , who spoke through his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the assurance earlier giving during the ‘Ipade Imole’ programme subsists.
‘Governor Adeleke has received the plea of the Ijesa Muslim leaders and has directed that a fresh assurance should be given that the ongoing road dualization project will not result in the demolition of the Central mosque.
The Muslim ummah should not entertain any fear as the mosque will remain intact. Only the entrance canopies will be affected, not the main building as earlier indicated.
The governor has also directed officials of the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure to interface with the Muslim leaders on the subject matter’ the Spokesperson noted.
While commending stakeholders for actively supporting the road dualization project in question, the Spokesperson also explained that Mr. Governor is committed to the implementation of the multi-billion naira Infrastructure upgrade with an eye on deep local content and active community engagement and collaboration -Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
