Rotimi Pedro Appointed As New Director General Of NTA…Stella Din Is Executive Director Of News
The presidency on Wednesday announced the appointment of Mr Rotimi Pedro as the new Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has also appointed Karimah Bello as Executive Director of Marketing.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Karimah, an indigene of Katsina State, represents the northwest.
The new Director General of NTA which was officially established in 1977 through Decree No 24, Mr. Rotimi Pedro, an indigene of Lagos State, has over 20 years of experience in broadcasting, sports rights, and media consulting, including leadership stints at Bloomberg Television Africa.
The president has also appointed Stella Din from Plateau State as Executive Director of News, and Sophia Mohammed from Adamawa State as Managing Director of NTA Enterprises Limited.
While noting that the appointments take immediate effect, the presidency added that it reaffirms President Bola Tinubu’s ‘commitment to strengthening national broadcasting as a platform for unity, cohesion, and soft diplomacy’-Team@orientactualmags.com
