Royal Items Stolen At Ogun Monarch’s Palace…Crown Recovered , Staff Of Office Still Missing…3 Arrested

Amusa Kazeem, Oke Oladipupo and Johnson Oluwole have been arrested by the police in Ogun state  and taken into custody .

They have been accused of committing a sacrilegious act by allegedly stealing the royal crown and staff of office of the late Olu of Ogunmakin, Oba Olugbenga Shodiya.

The traditional ruler had joined his ancestors  about two months ago.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned  that this was disclosed in a statement issued in Abeokuta by spokesperson for the state police command  Omolola Odutola, a Superintendent of Police.

  Kazeem, Oladipupo and Oluwole were said to have allegedly broken into the house of the late royal father on October 12, at about 2 a.m.  and stole  the crown and the staff of office.

‘On the 12th of October, 2023, an intelligence was received from the Palace of His Royal Majesty , late Ogunmakin that one Amusa Kazeem ‘m’ Oke Oladipupo and Johnson Oluwole ‘m’ conspired and stole the Royal Crown and Staff of Office two months after the demise of the King.

The suspects were alleged to have entered into the house at about 2000hrs where the properties of the late king were kept. They  took the key which was kept in the custody of the person assigned to keep the properties and removed the Royal Crown and the Staff of Office of the late King an act described as an abomination.

Immediately the information was received the police swung into action and recovered the Royal Crown, from the house of one Kazeem Amusan ‘m’. The Staff of Office has not been recovered, but intensive action is ongoing to recover same. The suspects have been arrested and undergoing interrogation.

The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, who was said to have been informed of this ugly incident, has however condemned the sacrilegious act urging members of the public to volunteer information that could help to recover the Staff of Office’ the statement said-.Team@orientactualmags.com
