Saheed Osupa Apologizes To Gov Makinde For Offensive Song Lyrics, Urges Support For His Re-election

Popular fuji musician, Alhaji Saheed Osupa, has apologized to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state for past offensive song lyrics.
Osupa , who was on the bandstand during the burial reception held for Late Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba (Dr) Abdul-Ganiy Adekunle Salau (Olooguebi Ajinese 1) at Iseyin Grammar School, Iseyin , Oyo state on Saturday afternoon, bowed to apologize to the governor.
Osupa, an indigene of Ibadan, had in the past offensive song lyrics spoke derisively about the governor especially the single he released in 2020 which was full of innuendos and had Makinde nicknamed as ‘Demakin’ .
He had referred to him as someone who does not keep his word.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned after Osupa had apologized to him, Makinde had simply said ‘No problem’ , whispered something in his ear and returned to his seat.
The popular fuji musician later began to sing Makinde’s praises and said ‘Makinde has performed wonderfully well’ , ‘Atiku is the next president’ and ‘Oyo residents will vote massively for Makinde and I have endorsed him’- Team@orientactualmags.com
