Saraki Begins Distribution Of ‘Sallah Package’ To Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, Party Members In Kwara

As Muslims across the world get set to celebrate 1446 AH eid-li-adha, former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has begun the distribution of ‘sallah package’ to residents of Kwara State in line with his annual practice.
He has done this to extend love and engage in acts of bigheartedness.
Saraki’s Press Officer on Local Matters, Mr Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, who disclosed this in a statement he issued in Ilorin and made available to Team@orientactualmags.com, noted that the items being distributed include rams, cows, cash gifts adding that this is aimed at supporting various groups and individuals as they celebrate ‘Ileya festival’.
Saraki, who is the Waziri Ngeri of Ilorin, has according to the statement made it a tradition to support the people during festive seasons, with this year’s effort reaffirming his grassroots connection and continued relevance in the political and social affairs of the state.
The distribution of ‘sallah package’, he noted, is being coordinated by a party chieftain, who is the former Senate President’s aide, Alhaji Nasir Subair.
He has been tasked with overseeing equitable spread of the items across the three senatorial districts in the state.
Dr Saraki also extended his warm Sallah greetings to the Muslim Ummah in Kwara State and beyond, urging them to celebrate in peace and remain steadfast in prayers for the nation.
‘As we celebrate this sacred festival of sacrifice, I felicitate the Muslim community and urge everyone to reflect on the values of selflessness, compassion, and unity that Eid-el-Kabir teaches us’ he said.
He further assured Kwarans of his continued commitment to their welfare, stressing that his philanthropic gestures remain a token of appreciation for their enduring support and goodwill over the years.
