Saraki Condoles With Family Of Kwaran Who Died In Police Custody, Calls For Probe

Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has described the death of Jimoh AbdulQodir Tunji in police custody as unfortunate .
Saraki, who praised the swift intervention of the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, and commended him for visiting the family of the deceased person, urged the police chief to ensure proper investigation as well as the prosecution of anyone found culpable in the tragic incident.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that the former Senate President made this call when a delegation visited the family of the deceased person in Erubu community, Balogun Fulani area of Ilorin, on his behalf on Monday.
Members of the delegation include Mall. Otukoko Olayinka Ibrahim, Hon. Taiye Alaya, Mr. Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir and Comrade Mufutau Aromaradu.
Mallam Yinka Outlook, who led the delegation, described the incident as disturbing and commended the IGP for being proactive while urging the police chief to ensure that the case is not swept under the carpet.
