Saraki Visits Families Of Late Amidu Alarape,  Abegunde , Hadizah In Ilorin

President of the 8th Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Thursday, visited families of  associates and party members in Kwara state who recently lost their loved ones .

‘The visit was to personally convey his deepest sympathies and identify with the bereaved families following the sad incidents’ his Press Officer on Local Matters  , Mr. Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir noted in a statement  made available to Team@orientactualmags.com  on Thursday.

Saraki, he added, visited the Balogun Ajikobi of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Isiaka Yusuf Okunrinjeje, to condole with him over the demise of his wife, Hajia Hadiza and he  offered  his condolences and gave words of support to the family.

The former Senate president also visited the Okeleru area of Ilorin where he paid condolence visit to the family of the late Alhaji Amidu Ayinla Alarape, who died  in the early hours of Sunday, 25th February 2024. 

He also sympathized with the Okeleru community of Ajikobi Ward in Ilorin West local government.

He  used the opportunity to acknowledge Alhaji Alarape’s steadfast dedication to the Saraki family, a loyalty that dated back to the time of his late father, late Oloye Olusola Saraki.

He described Alarape as a very loyal, active member of the Saraki political structure and one of the elders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state.

Saraki has also promised  to continue to keep the Balogun Ajikobi, Alarape, and Abegunde families in thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

He  also on the same day paid a condolence visit to the family of Kwara South PDP Senatorial District Woman Leader, Chief Mrs. Margret Abegunde, who lost her husband earlier this year.
