Senate Exposed To Criticism As Akpabio Slips Up Before Ending Speech … Netizens Show Displeasure

A development recorded during the plenary session of the senate on Wednesday has exposed the National Assembly to criticism.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that a viral video on Wednesday morning had the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio slipping up while ending his speech. He had disclosed that money has been sent to all members of the senate by the clerk of the National Assembly to enjoy their holiday.

‘In order to enable all of us enjoy our holidays, a token has been sent to our various bank accounts by the clerk of the national assembly’ he submitted before the motion for adjournment was moved.
It may have been a misstatement or a possible slip up as Akpabio later said; ‘I withdraw that statement.
In order to allow you to enjoy your holiday, the senate president has sent prayers to your mailboxes to assist you to go on a safe journey and return’ .
The development had since exposed the senate to widespread criticism and netizens have continued to show their displeasure.
‘They keep sharing money meanwhile Nigerians are suffering this is an Act of wickedness’ Samuel tweeted:
