The Senate President, Barrister Godswill Akpabio, has apologized to Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for the derogatory remarks he made last week during a plenary session.

.
‘Senator Natasha, you cannot speak without being asked or invited to speak in the Senate. This is not a nightclub’ he had said.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the Senate President , who apologized to Natasha during the plenary session he presided over on Tuesday, submitted that he would never deliberately denigrate any woman.
Lamenting that he had since gotten heavily criticized through phone calls and on social media , the Senate President added that his wife, who he respects greatly, had also brought the matter to his attention.
He however said the senate will not be made to take steps to regulate social media in the country out of anger.
‘I will not intentionally denigrate any woman and I always pray that God will uplift women. Distinguished Senator Natasha, I want to apologize to you.
The interest shown on social media indicates that we have enemies. I felt I should tender a public apology to you.
I do not mean any harm. People should focus on things that will move this country forward. Social media handlers should practice with decorum.
We won’t regulate social media out of anger’ he said.
Akpabio also denied claims by social media users that he has numerous girlfriends adding that in line with his religion, he is married to one wife, who is beautiful, and okay for him-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
