Senate Leader To Nigerians: Pray For President Bola Tinubu As He Takes Final Decision On Cabinet Nominees

Majority Leader of the Senate, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele on Tuesday urged Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu and ask God to make him take the right decision so that the citizens will happily ‘welcome’ the list of his cabinet nominees.

While disclosing that the president had make himself unavailable to avoid pressure, he assured that the list of cabinet nominees will be received by the senate in the next 24 hours.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that Bamidele  said this while giving his speech during the  public lecture held to mark  his 60th birthday anniversary  and the public  presentation of  his two books on Leadership,  Communication at the Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.

‘Let me tell you, and you must encourage me; I need to make myself unavailable for the next 48 hours because a correspondence must come to the Senate, a very crucial correspondence.

So ,Mr. President said pray for me. We should tell the rest of Nigerians to pray for him to make the right decision within the next 24 hours so that when Nigerians hear the list of his ministers, they will say ‘yes…this is uncommon’, and join us to pray for Mr. President.

He needed to be away from any kind of influence’ he said.

  In line with the 1999 Constitution  as amended, Tinubu, who was inaugurated as president on May  29, 2023,  is expected to  make  the list of his cabinet nominees available to the senate for confirmation hearings on or before July 28,2023-
