Senator Sadiq Umar Gingers Up APC E-Registration Exercise In Kwara North, Urges Support For President Tinubu, Gov Abdulrazaq
Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, who represents Kwara North in the senate, has concluded his constituency tour of the five Local Governments in the senatorial district with a series of high-level traditional, political, and youth engagements in Patigi and Edu Local Governments.
In Patigi local government, the senator and his delegation began with a courtesy visit to the Etsu of Patigi, who is also the Vice Chairman of Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim Bologi II, where issues of peace, development, and inclusive grassroots participation were extensively discussed.
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the senator’s media office noted that he also reaffirmed his deep respect for traditional institutions and acknowledged their critical role in fostering harmony and community development.

He later engaged youths at the Patigi Emirate Youth Office, urging them to remain peaceful, politically conscious, and actively involved in strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The federal lawmaker described young people as indispensable partners in democratic consolidation and future leadership.
Senator Sadiq also held strategic meetings with APC executives, elders, and stakeholders in Patigi and the discussions centered on the ongoing APC e-registration and revalidation exercise as well as the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) while emphasizing the need for mass participation to deepen the party’s grassroots strength ahead of future elections.
In Edu Local Government, Senator Sadiq visited the Emir of Lafiagi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Mohammed Kudu Kawu at his palace before engaging the entire APC party structure in the local government including executives, stakeholders, elders, and members—at a strategic ‘stakeholder meeting’ in Lafiagi.
The engagement centered on mobilization for APC e-registration and CVR, with the federal lawmaker urging party members to take full ownership of the exercise within their respective communities.
Senator Sadiq also visited the Emir of Tsonga, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Haliru Ndanusa Yahaya, and the Etsu of Tsaragi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi Kpotwa at their respective palaces during which he restated his commitment to inclusive representation, respect for traditional leadership, and sustained development across communities in Kwara North.





‘As part of his support for the success of the ongoing APC e-membership registration exercise and the INEC Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar made generous cash donations to all the five (5) Local Governments in the Kwara North senatorial district.
The provision of financial and logistical support for party members is to aid effective grassroots mobilization which requires practical support and collective effort.
Concluding the tour, Senator Sadiq called on residents of Kwara North to sustain their support for the APC-led administration of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, who he described as people-focused and development-driven. He also urged constituents to remain steadfast in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that unity, party discipline, and grassroots participation remain key to delivering lasting progress.
