Senator Saliu Mustapha Announces Date For Empowerment Programme

Senator Saliu Mustapha, who represents Kwara Central in the senate, has announced the date for his long-awaited empowerment programme.

Barrister Alabi Abdulkareem, who is the Senator’s aide, told Team@orientactualmags.com that the empowerment programme will hold on Friday, February 28, 2025, noting that this will serve as a platform to support beneficiaries who had attended the various training sessions facilitated by the federal lawmaker.

According to Abdulkareem, the initiative is designed to equip individuals who have been trained with the necessary tools and resources to establish themselves.

‘This programme is targeted mainly at beneficiaries who have acquired different skills through various training sessions facilitated by Senator Saliu Mustapha. It is not just about distributing items but about ensuring that these individuals can sustain themselves and contribute meaningfully to society’ he said.

Abdulkareem also linked the initiative to the agricultural transformation agenda of the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration, adding that the senator’s intervention will complement the state government’s efforts.

‘Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has placed emphasis on agriculture and skill development as key pillars of economic growth. As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development, Senator Mustapha is playing his part in reinforcing these efforts through direct interventions’ Abdulkareem added while noting that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is expected to grace the occasion as the Special Guest of Honour.
