Senator Saliu Mustapha Leads Parliamentary Delegation To PAP Extraordinary Session In South Africa
Chairman, Senate Committee on Agriculture, Senator Saliu Mustapha, is currently in South Africa for the extraordinary session of the 6th parliament of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP).
A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Friday noted that the senator, who represents Kwara Central, has joined over 250 African Parliamentarians for the Second Ordinary Session of the Six Parliament of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), and he is the head of the parliamentary delegation from Nigeria.
The statement added that Senator Saliu Mustapha, who is the Turaki of Ilorin, took his oath alongside members of the delegation during the opening ceremony of the extraordinary session that is being held in Midrand, South Africa while noting that this was sequel to his nomination by president of the senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio.
Senator Saliu’s leadership of the parliamentary delegation from Nigeria, the statement added, was an affirmation of his deep understanding of African affairs and he is expected to bring his strong diplomatic and negotiation skills to bear in his new role.
