Senator Tambuwal’s Election Fraud Claims Tantamount To Desecration Of Holy Month-Sokoto Govt

Sokoto state Government has hit out at the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Aminu Tambuwal and condemned his election fraud claims, submitting that what he has done is tantamount to desecration of the holy month of Ramadan,
Recall that Tambuwal had while addressing party members and supporters a few days ago alleged that his party, the PDP, won the Sokoto state 2023 gubernatorial election but was however denied victory.
Team@orientactualmags.com learned that the state Commissioner for Information, Sambo Danchadi, in a statement issued on Wednesday, however said PDP leaders in the state must be deluded to imagine that their party won the 2023 guber election.
He noted that the claim that the election in question was ‘manipulated’ against the PDP candidate, Alhaji Sa’aidu Umar ‘is ridiculous and insulting’ to thousands of Sokoto people who voted massively for the ruling party and its governorship candidate, Governor Ahmed Aliyu.
Sambo said the PDP was rejected by the people due to its abysmal performance whilst in control of the state.
‘For the former governor to say that PDP won the 2023 governorship election in the state but was robbed of victory amounted to the desecration of the holy month’ he submitted while adding that the PDP only won the majority of votes in five local governments out of the 23 local governments in the state.
The commissioner further noted that the APC not only won the election in question but had since justified its victory by addressing the issues that made the PDP lose the support of the people.
He added that having improved security in the state , the residents are according to him still celebrating the decision to send the PDP out of the Sokoto Government House.
The Ahmed Aliyu administration would according to him kick-start the inauguration of projects soon which would surpass the achievements of the PDP in the state in 8 years-Team@orientactualmags.com Do you have any information you wish to share with us?
