Sensitization Visit: Lawal Tajudeen Leads Osun APC Bigwigs To Ilesha…  Urges ‘Unity Of Effort’ To Strengthen Party

Osun state APC bigwigs were on Wednesday in Ilesha metropolitan areas in continuation of  the ‘sensitization visit’ to every part of the state by the party leaders.

 The APC leaders visited Ilesa East and Ilesa West Local Governments and they were welcomed at different locations by members and supporters of the party, who came out in large numbers.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by the party’s Director of Media, Chief  Kola Olabisi  noted that the team was led by the state  APC chairman , Sooko Tajudeen Lawal. Party officials including the state Secretary , Alhaji Alao Olabisi Kamoru; the state Treasurer, Hon Femi Kujembola; other members of the state APC   Working Committee , APC chieftains from different parts of the state accompanied Lawal.

The state APC chairman urged  peace and unity among the party members in the overall interest of the party while asking them not to allow the unsavoury experience during the last series of the elections in the state to dampen their spirit but rather make this the source of their fortification to  ensure that the party emerges victorious in the future elections.

He urged aggrieved  party members in the two local governments to sheathe their swords and resolve to work together for the party which is their common goal.

He told the leaders and members of the party to continue to make an overture to members of the party who are still outside the larger APC family and integrate those who are genuinely repentant and are willing to return to the fold.

‘If truly politics is about the people, there is nothing that should prevent us from reaching out to our aggrieved members and the new ones in order to improve and increase our membership base for the purpose of convincingly winning future elections.

Whoever is not a team player in our party is an enemy of the party who does not want the best for us. Let us discourage such an idea as it is not only counterproductive but inimical to the fortunes of our party’ he said.

Some of the leaders of the party in the two local governments had earlier talked about their challenges respectively while the state chairman has promised to urgently look into such  with a view to resolving them and moving the party forward–Team@orientactualmags.com
