Smart City Project: Igbomina Monarchs Urge Subjects To Refrain From Comments, Press Releases

Traditional rulers of Igbomina towns and villages in Kwara State under the umbrella of Igbomina Traditional Rulers’ Forum on Tuesday told their subjects to refrain from commenting or issuing press releases with respect to the Kwara State government’s Smart City Project at least for now.

The traditional rulers in a joint statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com by Olupo of Ajase-Ipo , HRM, Oba Ismail Bolaji Alebiosu and Olupako of Share, HRM, Oba Haruna Olawale Adegbite, who are the chairman and Secretary respectively, the Igbomina Traditional Rulers’ Forum, noted that meetings are currently being held with stakeholders, thought leaders and others on the subject.

‘The Igbomina Traditional Rulers’ Forum has followed with rapt attention the varying opinions on the smart city project of the Kwara State Government. Of particular interest to the Forum is how this concerns Ifelodun Local Government Area and the entire Igbomina land.
The Forum has had varying interactions with different stakeholders in Ifelodun in particular and Igbomina at large, and there are pending meetings scheduled with many other thought leaders on the subject.
