The Sola Saraki Educational Foundation (SSEF) has announced scholarships for medical students at public universities in Nigeria for the 2022/23 Academic Session.
Chairperson, SSEF Scholarship Standing Committee, Dr Nimata Akanbi in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that all eligible Nigerian citizens can apply while all applications must be submitted within 2 weeks.
‘The Board of Trustees of the SOLA SARAKI EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (SSEF) has approved awards of scholarship grants to eligible medical students undergoing studies in public universities in Nigeria for the 2022/23 Academic Session.
In view of the above, the SSEF Scholarship Standing Committee hereby invites applications from students who meet the eligibility criteria as stated below:
| Evidence of valid admission and current enrolment to pursue a medical degree (MBBS or MBCHB) in public universities within Nigeria. Applicants must be in 400 – 600 Level. Applicants who hold Nigerian citizenship from any state of the federation may apply. Students who are currently enjoying any form of scholarship award or grant are not eligible to apply. Applicants with demonstrable evidence of indigency/financial difficulty will be given preference in the selection process. Application documents [typed application letter and copies of supporting credentials/documents] should be forwarded as word attachments to: solasarakieducationalfoundation@yahoo.com with subject headlined 2022/23 Award. Supporting documents should include copies of admission letter, letter of attestation by Dean of Faculty to verify current enrolment and on-going academic studies, copy of school identity, copy of State or Local Government of Origin and other relevant documents. Previous awardees of the SSEF Scholarship grant may apply. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview. |
