Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Honourable Timothy Owoeye, on Tuesday visited Governor Ademola Adeleke in Ede.
It was the first time the heads of executive and legislature in the state would be meeting since the inauguration of Adeleke as sixth executive governor of Osun state on Sunday.
Governor Adeleke has commended the excellent partnership between the two arms of government.
The Governor’s spokesman, Mallam Olawale Rasheed noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com that the meeting was held at Adeleke’s country home with top leaders on both sides of the government in attendance.
Adeleke, the statement noted, has described the legislature as a critical arm of government that plays an important role in the efforts to deliver good governance, accountability, and leadership transparency.
Describing himself as a man with a passion for legislative duties, the Governor restated his readiness to work closely with the legislature to deliver on his five-point agenda and take Osun state to a greater height.
