Late Ọba Okunade Sijuwade Olubuse II was the 50th Ọọni of Ife ad he reigned from 1980 to 2015.
Late Chief Adisa Akinloyè, who was born in 1916 and died in 2007, was a popular politician during the first republic and also served as National Chairman of the defunct NPN during the second republic while Alhaji Abdulazeez Arisekola Alao, who was born in 1945 and died in 2014, was a popular businessman and Islamic leader.
