Mera commended Governor Nasir Idris for providing N196 million for the shipment and delivery of the items to Nigeria and its onward transportation to the state.
He also lauded President Bola Tinubu for approving a N280 million duty waiver that allowed for the duty-free clearance of the furniture.
Responding, Governor Nasir Idris expressed profound joy and gratitude for the kind gesture, describing it as a major boost to his administration’s commitment to improving education in Kebbi State.
