Sulyman Amunutuka ,Other Ward Officials Receive Former Adewole PDP Ward Chairman Into APC In Ilorin

The Chairman of APC in Adewole Ward, Ilorin West local government ,  Kwara state, Mallam Sulyman Nuhu Alfa Amunutuka,   led  officials and members of the party in the ward to receive  Hon Daud Lawal Olusola into the party on Sunday.

Hon  Daud Lawal Olusola was until his defection to the APC last week ,the PDP Chairman in Adewole Ward.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is from Adewole Ward and this was considered as enjoying support on the domestic front.

A statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com noted that Olusola attended the Adewole  APC Ward meeting on Sunday  during which  he reanounced his defection from PDP to  the APC  citing numerous achievements of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq which includes  good welfare programmes for the workers,  repositioning of education and health sectors, among others.

The former PDP Ward  Chairman further noted  that politics is not a religion that one should take as a ‘do or die’ affair, cognizant that there were  many untrue publications that surfaced after taking a decision to leave the PDP for the Progressives family. 

The decision to join the progressive fold was according to him not made under duress or undue influence adding  that he is fully ready to work for the party’s progress and  the success of the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration.

He also asked  Almighty Allah to continue to  guide and protect Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq who he called   an illustrious and exceptional leader.

The statement also added that Hon Daud was warmly  received  into the party by the Adewole APC executives, stakeholders, elders, and other party  members that attended the ward meeting.
