Supreme Court Victory: Congratulations Pour In For Governor Nasir Idris
Congratulations have poured in for the governor of Kebbi state, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, the Kauran Gwandu following his victory at the Supreme Court on Friday, January 19, 2024 .
Recall that the nation’s apex court had on Friday upheld his victory in the gubernatorial election held in the state last year and dismissed the appeal filed by the PDP candidate, retired General Aminu Bande .
The governor’s Special Adviser, Mr Yahaya Sarki noted in a statement made available to Team@orientactualmags.com on Saturday that it had since been a chorus of congratulations all the way.
‘Congratulatory messages are still pouring in from people from all walks of life including government functionaries and politicians hailing the charismatic leader and Mmagnetic personality, the Kauran Gwandu, on his foreordained victory’ the statement said.
The Kebbi state Commander of the Nigerian Hunters and Forest Security Service (NHFSS), Ambassador Musa Hussaini Rambo, is also thankful to the almighty creator for the Supreme Court ruling affirming Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris as the duly elected governor of Kebbi state.
Ambassador Hussaini Rambo, delivered his congratulatory message while talking to journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.
‘We congratulate Governor Nasir Idris on his victory at the Supreme Court. This is our victory and the victory of all people of Kebbi state, especially the members of hunters and forest security service who have been getting tremendous support from the governor’ he said.
The Commander also solicited for additional assistance from the state and local governments saying ‘we are combat ready to be part of security architecture to strengthen security especially against bandits in our forests. We are not afraid of bandits’.
Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hajiya Halima Hassan Kamba expressed gratitude to God for making Governor Nasir Idris record victory at the supreme Court on Friday.
Hajiya Halima Kamba described the verdict as victory for democracy and people of Kebbi state.
She expressed utmost confidence that the governor would implement his policy decisions on improving the quality of life of all people in the nooks and crannies of the state.
The commissioner however urged all and sundry to rally round the Nasiru Idris administration for the attainment of target objectives of growth and development.
Alhaji Sadiq Gwadangwaji, who also spoke on behalf of Alhaji Umar Idris Buro, a Kebbi state APC bigwig, described the governor’s as divinely decreed.
He advised members of other political parties to put aside politics and join hands with the Kauran Gwandu administration to facilitate social and economic growth of Kebbi state.
Alhaji Umar Buro also appealed to the entire people of the state to remain supportive, loyal and cooperative to Governor Nasir Idris in the task of good governance and provision of democratic dividends.
Similarly, the state Head of Service, Alhaji Safiyanu Garba Bena, congratulated Governor Nasir Idris on his victory at the Supreme Court.
In a statement issued in Birnin Kebbi on behalf of the entire workforce in the state, , the Head of Service congratulated the Chief Executive of Kebbi state on the victory which has reinforced the commitment of civil servants for optimum productivity.
The statement added that congratulatory messages were also received from the Kebbi state Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Nigerian Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Association of People living with disabilities and other associations and groups in the state– Team@orientactualmags.com
