Suspension: Dawakin Tofa LG, Kano APC Officials Stand Up For Abdulahi Ganduje…  Overrule Ward Officials

Dawakin Tofa local government APC officials and the State Working Committee came to the defence of APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulahi Ganduje on Monday .

Party officials in Ganduje Ward, , Dawakin Tofa Local Government ,  Kano state  had earlier on Monday announced Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje ‘s suspension from the party..

The legal adviser of the party in Ganduje Ward , Halliru Gwanzo,  had while announcing  the former governor’s  suspension  in Kano,  cited bribery allegations leveled against him  by the Kano state Government.

 ‘We decided to suspend Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje from the party due to the seriousness of the allegations against him’  Gwanzo had submitted.

Team@orientactualmags.com learned that APC chairman in Dawakin Tofa local government, Inusa Suleiman Dawanau,  however told journalists that the ward officials in question   already had allegations of anti-party activities leveled against them alleging that they have held meetings with officials of the ruling party in the state , the NNPP.

The ward officials have since been suspended for six months whilst the party launches probe into the allegations raised against them.

 Kano state APC chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, said the State Working Committee had since okayed the decisions taken by  party officials at the local government level.

 He  clarified and asserted  that  Ganduje’s suspension is invalid, null and void and cannot stand.

‘We have evidence of meetings between the State Government officials and those who suspended the National Chairman, and the State Working Committee has agreed to sanction them for six months.
