Tense Atmosphere In Osun Community As Thugs Beat Soldier Blue And Black
For the better part of Tuesday, November 7, 2023, a tense situation existed in Iree, Boripe local government , Osun state , shop owners in the town voluntarily closed their doors while people also returned home quickly as a result of safety fears.
Sources told Team@orientactualmags.com that the trouble began after some thugs headed by a man popularly called Gbedu beat a soldier blue and black.
The soldier in question was in Iree to celebrate with his sister , a student at the Osun state Polytechnic , Iree, who was having her ‘sign out ceremony’.
The badly bruised soldier had gotten in touch with his colleagues ,who arrived in the town and took control of the Poly gate junction and had okada riders and other road users scared away .
Students at the polytechnic had to trek home after taking their examinations .
