Thanksgiving Prayer Held In Honour Of Mohammed Ghali In Ilorin

The people of Kwara state on Wednesday prayed for the success of the President Ahmed Bola Tinubu administration ditto  Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration during the thanksgiving prayer service held in honour of Dr Mohammed Ghali Alaaya in Ilorin, the state capital.

An indigene of Ilorin, Dr Mohammed Ghali Alaaya, was appointed as a non- executive director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) by President Tinubu last week.

 Clerics ,who attended the thanksgiving prayer service,  asked God to grant President Tinubu a successful tenure while also praying that  Allah will grant Governor AbdulRazaq more greater achievements in his second term. 

They  thanked Tinubu and AbdulRazaq for finding Ghali worthy of appointment to the board of the  NNPCL.

The well attended prayer session was at the instance of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ubandawaki ward, Ilorin West local government ,Kwara state

Members of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Kwara state chapter which is headed by Alaaya  and  the Gamji Members Association (GAMA) which  has him as a member  also joined  the people of Ubandawaki ward in organizing the thanksgiving prayer service.

The prayer session was presided over by Sheikh Mubarak Alaiye ,who was supported by other prominent clerics; Ustaz Abdullahi Olooto, Ustaz AbdulBaki Odegbangba, Ustaz Sakariyah Olesin and Alfa Muhammad Ajijola Anabi, amongst others.

Dignitaries that graced the event included the governor’s Chief of Staff , Alh AbdulKadir Mahe, Alh L.A.K Jimoh, senior adviser and counselor, Alh Saadu Salahu, Special Adviser on Media, Alh Bashir Adigun, ex- Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr Afees Abolore, General Manager of KWASSIP,Dr AbdulWasiu Tejidini and senior special assistant on Religion (Islam), Ibrahim Danmaigoro. 

Others are the chairman of Ibagun Progressive Union ( IPU), Alh Kuranga Omomeji Morogun, chairman, Kwara State Basic Education Board,  Prof Shehu Adaramaja, ex- commissioner for Agriculture, Alh Gidado Alakawa, an APC stalwart, Alh Bibire Ajape,  Dr Saadu Koroagba,Alh Gani Galadima, former state lawmaker,  Barr. Bamidele Aluko , former chairman of Kwara state Television Service, Alh Hameed Adio and the National Social Investment Programme’s focal person in Kwara state, Dr Rabiat Shehu- Jimoh Alabere.

Chairman of GAMA, Alh Tunde Akanbi, GAMA secretary, Alh Abdullahi Yusuf, Alh AbdulRasaq Gida, Hon. Sikirullahi Oladimeji, Dr Yunus Baraje, director of Media and documentation of ACF, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, Hon. Mashood Alaka and Alh Sulaiman Olesin also attended the event.

In his short sermon, the chief Imam of Oloje, Ilorin, Sheikh AbdulMumini Ibrahim, urged Ghali to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor and President Tinubu who were instrumental in his appointment-Team@orientactualmags.com
